Pregnancy Care
I’ve had extensive experience with caring for women and their partners throughout the different stages of their pregnancy. Here are some ways I can help:
- Pre-pregnancy counselling including infertility investigation and management
- Multiple miscarriages
- Early pregnancy screening, counselling and treatment of symptoms such as nausea and vomiting, bleeding, etc.
- Low-risk pregnancies
- High-risk pregnancies including mothers with medical conditions such as diabetes, cardiac, renal or thyroid conditions
- Twin pregnancies, including a trial of vaginal births where suitable
- VBAC attempts
Gynaecology
As a gynaecologist with experience in laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgery, these are some issues I regularly treat:
- Abnormal cervical screening test results (pap smears)
- Contraception choice, including insertion and removal of IUD (e.g. Mirena) and Implanon
- Menstrual cycle abnormalities, including heavy or irregular periods
- Menopause
- Ovarian masses/cysts
- Fibroids
- Prolapse and urinary incontinence
